Second Spell Week 5

Week 5 ( 23/01/2023 to 27/01/2023 )

             The fifth week of teaching practice began on 23 rd of January and it extended to 27th of January.
This week we got completely involved in the activities related to Setting of Vegetable Garden. We planted saplings like Brinjal, Chilli, and peas.
As part of Republic Day, we conducted a quiz competition for the students. There were 20 questions and the students were given 30 minutes for completing the answers.
This week I revised the portions for the students, the lessons “The Trio" and
“A Prayer in Spring " were revised and also tests were conducted for the students.

          On 26 th January, 2023 the school celebrated Republic Day, so this day we were asked to come by 8.30 am. The NCC cadets and all the students of the school assembled in the school ground, and the Head Master, Anil Kumar Sir addressed the gathering and conveyed his Republic Day message.After this,the students were given sweets and they got off from the school by 10.30 am.

        But we the student teachers went to have a look at the vegetable garden which we have set for the school and, we planted some more saplings near the cook- house. Chilli, Brinjal were sown in grow bags and in soil, also we added some minerals to it. This was really our contribution to the school.

         This week ended on 27 th January, 2023. This day, Dhanya ma'am from The Department of Natural Science came to observe the classes of the student-teachers of Natural Science.
This week too ended up well and added bags of memories to my life.

INNOVATIVE WORK        The innovative work was made with the intention of teaching grammar through story. The story was given a name, Three Friends✨.Then, the idea of nouns ,verbs and adjectives were transacted using the three characters of the story;Noun, Verb, Adjective.The class was really interesting and the students actively engaged in the class. The students were first of all asked to share their experience about the traditional method of teaching and towards the end of the class their experience changed and gave me a positive feedback regarding the class and they curiously sat in the class with full attention.
