Week 8 of teaching practice

Week 8( 31/07/2023-04/08/2023)
    By this week I completed my lesson plans ,and I took the innovative lesson plan for the students of VIII.E.The innovation was Word Building Using Prefix and Suffix.For this I created  Prefix Flower and Suffix Flower models.
This activity was to expand the knowledge of words of learners.

Then, the innovative work was given to each group of students and the students were very excited to learn the prefixes and suffixes.The innovative lesson plan was based on Homonyms and Homophones.The difference between the two was communicated using pictures and videos.The innovative lesson was taken in the form of a game.The students were divided into groups,and 
each of the team was shown a video or a picture and they were asked to write what they see or hear and finally the group which gets maximum number of right answers were declared as the winner.

The students actively participated in the activity and they were engaged and involved in the game till it's end.Also ,this week we had morning assembly on Thursday where all the students of the school gathered.The new principal of higher secondary addressed the gathering and she gave moral messages to the students and asked the students to maintain discipline in the school campus and discussed the basic manners to be followed by each of the students in the school.
On the last day at school,04/08/2023 ,the students of my class gifted me a wish cards,pens,chocolates and a small book from my student Karthik.The students were lovely and my heart ached on my last class at VIII.E. 

Also,on this day I gifted my mentor teacher a pen and distributed sweets for my students.Then ,we all signed and sealed the attendance register.Then,after every other duties I signed and sealed athe attendance register form the Head Master of the school.Then,we bid farewell to the school and got off from the school with bags of memories by 4.35 pm

INNOVATIVE WORK        The innovative work was made with the intention of teaching grammar through story. The story was given a name, Three Friends✨.Then, the idea of nouns ,verbs and adjectives were transacted using the three characters of the story;Noun, Verb, Adjective.The class was really interesting and the students actively engaged in the class. The students were first of all asked to share their experience about the traditional method of teaching and towards the end of the class their experience changed and gave me a positive feedback regarding the class and they curiously sat in the class with full attention.

 WORK TO TEACH PREFIX AND SUFFIX  I made a work to teach Prefix and Suffix and named my work as PREFIX FLOWER AND SUFFIX FLOWER ,I did this work with the intention of enriching the vocabulary of the learners.When the work was presented to the learners, they were very excited and they curiously looked at the work.The work was implemented on the class and the learners could get a complete idea of the concept of prefix and suffix.The learners were super excited when the work was given in groups.
